Such an old post but I love this song! Gahhhh i wish I could have it for my iPod everyday!
So I went to my friend/producer’s house and we did this demo of the song in the video. We did it in one take for harmonies and one take the melody… so I know it’s rough. And I want to produce it a little differently. But I thought it was fun, even if it’s all rough sounding!
The song is about me going through a really hard time and talking to a new person about this hard time… and how I warn them of my troubles, but they don’t walk away and stay with me through it all. It sucks going through all this really fucked up shit, but when you find someone who gets you and isn’t afraid of all the bad stuff that comes with you, it’s really refreshing and beautiful :) <3
